I am always looking for new ways to cook veggies to make them more exciting and appetizing. I don’t like frozen or canned vegetables very much, so I typically only use fresh. I found some yummy looking broccolini at the grocery store and decided to buy it. Broccolini is a hybrid of broccoli and kai-lan, which is a Chinese broccoli. It has smaller florets and thinner stalks. To me, it just adds a twist to regular fresh broccoli!
First, add 1 tbsp. of butter to a saucepan on medium heat. Then, add washed broccolini to the pan. Next, add gluten free soy sauce and siracha to the pan to taste. Cook for ten minutes, and then it’s ready to eat!
This simple veggie can be added to a number of meals. I promise you will love it!
